It does look good, I’ll give it that, but for the price, I was expecting a lot more. It just doesn’t feel like you’re getting enough for what you pay.

"Not as premium as I expected"
I ordered this thinking it would make a nice, premium-looking gift, but when it arrived it felt basic. The items themselves were okay, but nothing about it really stood out for the price. Even the packaging was kind of underwhelming, so I’d feel a little awkward sending it as a high-end gift. If this is the quality going forward, I’ll probably look elsewhere next time.

"The tracking stress really stuck with me"
I ordered from Santa Barbara Company, what I remember most is that uneasy feeling of checking the tracking over and over and seeing nothing change. I had a tracking number, but it didn’t update for days, so I was just sitting there wondering where my package even was.

I eventually emailed to ask what was going on, hoping for some kind of clear answer, but the reply didn’t really help. It was basically just “keep waiting,” which felt frustrating after I’d already paid and was trying to plan around the delivery.

The whole experience was more stressful than it needed to be. It wasn’t some huge disaster, but I still remember how annoying it felt not knowing what was happening, and because of that I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

The gift just looked kind of thrown together. The wrapping was cheap-looking, and I don’t know, it just didn’t really feel like much care went into it. The item itself might’ve been fine, but the presentation threw me off

"Cute shop, just not quite what I had in mind"
I stopped in while wandering around Santa Barbara and the shop had a nice feel to it, with a few cute things that would make good gifts. I liked some of the displays and there were definitely a couple items that caught my eye. After looking around for a bit, though, I realized there just weren’t as many locally made Santa Barbara items as I was hoping for. It’s a pleasant place to browse, but the local selection felt a little limited for what I was looking for

I ordered thinking it would show up in a reasonable amount of time, but the shipping was painfully slow. It just kept dragging on, and I barely got any clear updates, which made it even more frustrating.
The stuff on the site looked fine, but the wait ruined the whole thing for me. Whoever runs this really needs to get the shipping and communication sorted out. I wouldn’t order again if I needed something anytime soon.

"Flavor just didn’t live up to the price"
I ordered from santabarbaracompany.com and was let down once I actually tasted it. I wanted to like it because it looked nice and felt like it should be something special, but the flavors came across flat and kind of stale, like it had been sitting around for a while.

For the price, I expected something that would feel a little more exciting or at least really fresh. It might make a decent-looking gift, but if I’m being honest, eating it just wasn’t enjoyable for me. I wouldn’t order it again

A few things seemed genuinely unique, while others reminded me of something you’d grab from a basic gift shop. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy, but after using it for a short time, it just felt cheap. The bigger issue was that it broke way sooner than I thought it would, which made it hard to feel like it was worth the money.

I was a little nervous about this order since there were a few fragile items in the box, but everything showed up in good shape. The packaging was actually better than I expected, which was a nice surprise. It did take a bit longer to arrive than I would’ve liked, but at least when it finally got here, nothing was broken. Overall, happy with it.

"Gift packaging is always a gamble"
The items themselves were actually nice, but the packaging was disappointing. The box showed up kind of crushed, and one corner was ripped open like nobody ever bothers to pack gift orders carefully anymore. Nothing was completely broken, thankfully, but since it was meant to be a gift, I was expecting it to look a lot better. it was a letdown.

I was kind of hoping I’d be able to make the gift feel a little more personal, but the customization options seemed limited. There wasn’t much I could really change beyond the basics, so it felt a bit more set in stone than I expected. For the price, I guess I was expecting a few more choices. It still turned out nice, but to me it felt more like an upgraded gift basket than something truly custom.
